All set to launch 'Sammabhimani' - Travelling Spiritual Programme

'Sammabhimani', a spiritual programme produced to enrich moral values in the social order would be launched on 7th November. It has been planned to travel around the country covering main cities and the whole programme would be preceded over by Ven. Uduwe Dhammaloka thero along with Maha Sanga. Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasooriya emphasised on the importance of the programme while addressing the weekly media briefing held at the MoD Media Centre Wednesday morning (5th Sep).

At the initial drive, Embilipitiya, Pelmadulla and Ratnapura areas would be covered and the inaugural session would be held at the Embilipitiya Mahaweli Grounds on 7th November. Sri Lanka Army will assist the righteous event while coordinating throughout the extensive journey.

Thereon, it has been scheduled to travel to Hambantota, Badulla, Ampara, Moneragala, Galle, Matale, Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Vauniya, Anuradhapura, Kurunegala, Homagama, Kesbewa, Avissawella, Gampaha and Kaduwela areas. (KH/MoD)
