Parallel to the National Science Week, a Science Walk has been organized by the Ministry of Technology and Research on November 8, beginning from Maitland Place opposite Sri Lanka Cricket at 7.30 a.m. which will proceed up to Industrial and Technology Institute through Thunmulla Junction.
The Technology and Research Ministry has named the period November 4 to 10 as National Science Week with the objective of facilitating development of the science and technology field by going beyond the normal tradition of celebrating Science and Technology Day
