President of Korean Football Association, Chung Mong Gye together with Vice President, D .D. Kim visited Football Federation of Sri Lanka and met with the President of FFSL Ranjith Rodrigo and discussed the Development Plans of FFSL and promised to assist in many possible ways to uplift the game in Sri Lanka. As an initiative the Korean Friendship U19 Junior Football Championship will be launched with the Korean FA sponsorship and more than 60 Leagues will participate for the tournament.
In the discussions General Secretary FFSL, Upali Hewage, Vice President FFSL, Sunil Senaweera too participated with the President. Gye also met with the Football Federation Staff at FFSL.
The FFSL President, Ranjith Rodrigo and Staff also wished the Korean National Football Team all the success in the forth coming FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
