Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena pledges to consolidate to the maximum giving an opportunity for children to move forward along with new technolog/ during an event held to vest in the students the Computer Unit of Royal College in Polonnaruwa.
This new fully equipped Computer Unit of the Polonnaruwa Royal College was constructed by Sri Lanka Telecom in collaboration with Mobitel incurring an expenditure of seven million rupees. The President inspected the Computer Unit after opening it.
President Maithripala Sirisena stressed that the government is committed towards assuring an opportunity for children to move ahead with new technology.
Chairman, Sri Lanka Telecom Kumarasinghe Sirisena was present at the event.
