Over 6000 farmers and farmer leaders attended the Convention.
The Convention was organized by the Hadabima Authority \ to enlighten the farmers on the achievements in the agricultural sector in the past two decades and on future developments in the field.
Prime Minister D.M.Jayarathna, Minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Central Province Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake, Deputy Ministers Abdul Cader, Y.P.Padmasiri, Earl Gunasekera, Parliamentarian Lohan Ratwatte were among those present.(KH)
