    President Rajapaksa Holds Bilateral Discussions with President of Mauritania Featured

    President Mahinda Rajapaksa welcomed the President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon. The Mauritanian President is in Sri Lanka enroute to Australia to attend the G-20 Summit.
     
    President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz also held bilateral discussions at the Presidential Secretariat.
     
     
    Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L. Peiris, Senior Minister of Urban Affairs  A.H.M. Fowzie, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resource Development  Rajitha Senaratne, Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion  Faizer Mustapha, President’s Chief of Staff  Gamini Senarath and Additional Secretary to the Ministry of External Affairs Mrs. Chitranganee Wagiswara were present during the bilateral discussion.
     
     
    Sri Lanka and Mauritania signed an agreement for the establishment of a Joint Commission on Cooperation and an agreement on Bilateral Political Consultations pn Thursday (13) at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.
