Marking the commencement of the national reading month, which falls in October, the badge on this event was pinned on President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (3rd Oct.).
The event was organized by the National Library and Documentation Services Board and the Chairman of the National Library and Documentation Service Board Prof. W.A. Abeysinghe pinned the badge on the President.
A group of persons, including the Director General of the National Library and Documentation Service Board W. Sunil participated in this event.
