The exhibition was organized by the National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka with the objective of increasing the export demand for ornamental fish and ornamental aquatic plants produced in Sri Lanka.

The exhibition consists of 100 stalls, and several programs including awareness programs will be held.

Ministers Mahinda Amaraweera, Lakshman Kiriella, State Minister Dilip Wedaarachchi, Chairman of the National Aquaculture Development Authority Upali Mohotti, and Director-General Nimal Chandrarathna were also present.
