He made these observations participating at the debate on the second reading of the budget 2016.

He added that a lot of economic ,social and constitutional changes were taken place during the last 10 months and the President Sirisena for the first time has reduced the powers of the Executive Presidency and has established independent commissions.

The budget has taken measures to bring one million job opportunities and to strengthen the rural economy and it has not used the Robin Hood theory.
