The Minister said that this decision had been taken to ensure that there is no fuel shortage in the country. He assured the general public not to have any undue fear as there is no shortage of fuel in the country.
Minister Mahinda Amaraweera has instructed the Petroleum Corporation to send four fuel transport trains to four provinces tomorrow (23). Accordingly, the fuel trains would be sent to Anuradhapura, Batticaloa, Peradeniya, and Katunayake from Kolonnawa.
