Issuing a statement said that currently there are 17 quarantine centres throughout the country caring for 2738 persons and 30 of them are foreigners.
Meanwhile, 97 Sri Lankan pilgrims who had gone to Bodhgaya India had returned to the country on board Sri Lankan Airlines flight UL122 today (20) and they have been sent to a quarantine centre.
all those who have returned to the country from overseas and have yet not undergone the quarantine process to kindly do so.
Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva also noted that curfew has been imposed country-wide from 6.00 pm today (20) until 6.00 am on Monday (23), but those who need to travel for essential services could do so by producing their official identity cards.
