In addition to the SAARC finance ministers, several officials from the finance sector of the member countries will also participate.
Several trade issues including regional cooperation in economic affairs and investment opportunities are on the top of the agenda at summit 2016. At the same time, the summit will evaluate the set agreements and targets during the previous summit of SAARC Financial Ministers held in Kathmandu Nepal in 2015.
Minister Karunanayake will be accompanied by Finance Ministry Secretary Dr. R.H.S. Samaratunga and a group of representatives from the Foreign Resources Department.
