We have already appointed an advisory panel regarding the marine industry. Advice from the expertise is important when getting assistances for other factors as well, not only regarding the marine industry. But, in the past there was no such culture. We took over a corrupted society on the 8th of January.”

Here the research book, which was written by the Senior Professor Jinadasa Katupotha handed over his ‘Lagoon of Sri Lanka: From the Origins to the Present’ to the Minister Arjuna Ranatunga. For this gathering the Secretary to the Ports and Shipping L.P. Jayanpathy, Chairman of the Ports Authority Dammika Ranatunga and staff from the Ministry of Ports and Shipping attended.
