Through this service pensioners can now receive their pension directly into their mCash account for greater convenience.The Mobitel Institute provides the "Kala Guna" telephone package and a mobile phone free of charge to the pensioners.

This new facility eliminates the need for mCash customers to travel to collect their pension disbursement and allows the ease of having their pension credited directly onto their mobiles.

Licensed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, mCash allows Mobitel customers to maintain a mobile account and experience a whole new method of carrying out financial transactions. mCash customers are able to deposit, withdraw and transfer money, pay utility bills, insurance premiums and even pay for goods and services. Since its launch, mCash has garnered significant part of registered customers across the length and breadth of the country.
