President Mahinda Rajapaksa will commission the Power Supply Scheme established in the Delft Island today thus providing 100 percent supplies to the Delft Island which enjoyed only 40 percent of electricity supply.

This electricity Scheme will meet the requirements of 1,082 families. The outlay of the project was 60 million rupees.

Accordingly, the new project will cover the Eastern, Western and Central areas of the Delft Islands.(KH)
