The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry PC, highlighted the importance of these engagements, emphasizing the sizable population of approximately 1.3 billion in these African countries and the anticipated rapid development in the future.

The official meeting between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Prime Minister of Nepal Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal took place today (20) in Kampala, Uganda, in conjunction with the Non-Aligned movement Summit.

Mr. Sagala Ratnayaka, Senior Adviser to the President on National Security and Chief of the Presidential Staff stated that, irrespective of the opposition’s criticism, the people will witness the outcomes of the government’s new economic reforms.
