Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K. Shanmugam will visit Sri Lanka and India from today (Feb 23) to Thursday (Feb 26), Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
In Sri Lanka, Minister Shanmugam will visit Colombo where he will call on President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Minister Shanmugam will also meet his counterpart, Minister of External Affairs Mangala Samaraweera, and Governor of the Central Bank Arjuna Mahendran.
Singapore Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the visit is aimed at reaffirming the strong and friendly relations between Singapore and Sri Lanka.
