    Russia, India, China, Reafirming Strategic Alliance Role

    Moscow,: The dialogue of trust between Russia, India and China is an effective tool to support the process of formation of a polycentric world order, said today Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a ministerial meeting.


    According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, Lavrov reaffirmed the role of the three countries 'as a key factor in international politics' in a complex period for the world, during the opening of the meeting of foreign ministers of the troika, in Beijing.

    He said that foreign interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states exacerbates the potential for conflicts, threats are increased and the world becomes increasingly less secure.

    Addressing his Chinese peers, Wang Yi, and Indian, Sushma Swaraj, the Russian minister noted the increasing role of the Asia-Pacific region as one of the important centers of the world, politically and economically.

    The head of Russian diplomacy insisted on the concern about the dire consequences for the countries of foreign interference in the affairs of sovereign states by supporting radical forces and organizing coups unconstitutional states.

    Such actions not only destabilize nations, but increases the potential for conflict in international relations, Lavrov noted.

    He warned that sense that not a single State or even group of nations has sufficient resources to solve the global problems of priority.

    The Russian Foreign Minister put emphasis on important premises as consensus between the centers of influence and a strong network of diplomacy toward the establishment of a comprehensive security architecture and the joint fight against international terrorism.

    Shortly before the expanded ministerial meeting, Lavrov held a bilateral exchange with his colleague of India, Sushma Swaraj, in which was discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation in various fields, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

    The tripartite meeting of foreign ministers (Russia, India, China) is the thirteenth since the first of its kind held in New York in 2003.

    About the objectives of the meeting agenda on Monday in Beijing excels preparing summits Group Brics (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) and the Shanghai Cooperation Forum, scheduled for June in the Russian city of Ufa.
