Movie-goers in the US are experiencing a new type of theatre experience, using all five senses. The immersive film technology is called 4DX and has people shaking in their seats. If you love film and like being part of the action, 4DX is the latest technology transforming the cinema experience.
It’s no longer just about what’s happening on the screen. 4DX cinema rumbles, rocks, sways, vibrates, smokes, strobes, sprays water, tickles your legs and even introduces smells. The technology has been around for several years but it is now being introduced to US audiences. CJ4DPlex created the first 4DX experience in 2009 and it quickly spread to 115 screens in 28 countries.
