    Steven Spielberg Started Filming New Cold War Spy Thriller

    Three time Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg has begun filming of an Cold War spy thriller called St. James Palace in Berlin starring two time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks.

    This film will shoot in both New York and in Berlin. The new film is based on the true story of James Donovan, an attorney who finds himself placed in the midst of the Cold War because the CIA sent him on a nearly impossible mission to represent the United States in negotiating the release of a captured U-2 pilot.

     

    Alongside Spielberg, this movie has a dream team of producers like Marc Platt ("Drive") as well as executive producers of Adam Somner ("The Wolf of Wall Street").

     

    The screenplay was written by three time Academy Award winners Joel and Ethan Coen ("No Country For Old Men"). This film will be released in U.S. theaters on October 16, 2015, Prensa Latina news agency reported.
