A seminar on Sri Lankan IT will be held on 9th May at Tokyo big sight, Japan.
The seminar is organized by the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka (EDB) with the assistance of Sri Lanka Embassy in Japan, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and Japan Information Technology Services Industry Association (JISA).
Meanwhile, the EDB will also be participating at Japan IT Week-2017 from 10th-12th May in Tokyo.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
News.lk publishes in three languages – Sinhala, Tamil and English.
