Country's main international Airport, the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) will be closed for 8 hours daily between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. from 5th January to 5th April 2017 to carry out the maintenance of the runway, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva said.
