    Govt. to resume oil import from Iran Featured

    Sri Lankan government has planned to resume the import of crude oil from Iran.

    The decision has been reached by the government to import oil from Iran as the sanction imposed on Iran has now been removed.

     

    Sri Lanka stopped buying oil from Iran in 2012 due to these sanctions imposed.

     

    According to the Petroleum Ministry sources, resuming the oil import from Iran gains many advantages to the country.
