She will be in London on 12 September and departing on 28 September to coincide with the course dates and will be staying onsite for the duration of the course as stated above. The total sponsorship for her coach education is from England-Football Association.
Menaka is the first ever Women’s Football coach selected and nominated by Asian Football Confederation from Sri Lanka for this highly recognized course. She already process AFC C license coaching certificate and has undergone FIFA Goal Keeping Course.
She is the Sri Lanka women’s under 16 Coach at present and was the Assistant coach of Women’s National Team that participated in South Asian football Federation.
Menaka is a product of school in Badulla and is a Physical Education Teacher attached to Ministry of Education in Uva Province.
