The newly constructed Galle Face Roundabout opening ceremony was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena on Thursday (17) night.
The Roundabout has been beautifully constructed with images of the lion and other carvings portraying Sri Lanka’s identity. Located opposite the Presidential Secretariat, the Roundabout is complete with an attractive electricity lighting system and a beautiful water pond.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe, Ministers Sajith Premadasa, A.H.M.Fowzi, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Arjuna Ranatunga, Mayor of Colombo A.J.M.Muzammil were present.
