Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has sent a congratulatory message to British Prime Minister David Cameron upon his re-election.
The message of the President states that the re-election of the British Prime Minister has laid a strong foundation for bilateral relations. The message further states that the re-election of Prime Minister Cameron is an encouragement to the progress of both countries.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
