President Mahinda Rajapaksa has spoken over the phone to Presidential Candidate of the New democratic front Maithripala Sirisena this morning and has congratulated him on his impending victory.
President Rajapaksa after a discussion with the Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe and the Cabinet had conveyed his wish to let the new President take over without any hindrance.
