General Secretary of Commonwealth Kamalesh Sharma visited Parliament today. He first arrived at the Official Residence of Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa and met the latter there. Thereafter Sharma arrived at Parliament.
Sharma is to remain in the country until next Thursday (30), parliament sources said.
Sharma is the 5th and current Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Nations from 2008, having previously served as the High Commissioner for India in London. (Special Reporter/HC)
