The event was organized by the Department of Muslim Religious & Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Buddha Sasana, Religious & Cultural Affairs.
A commemorative stamp and a first day cover for the National Milad-Un-Nabi Celebration-2021 were also issued. Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma- Minister of Mass Media, presented the commemorative stamp and the first day cover to the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister presented prizes and certificates to the students who won the competitions held to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.
