President Mahinda Rajapaksa has appointed two more members to the advisory panel of Presidential Commission Investigating Cases of Missing Persons in Sri Lanka.
The two appointees are Indian human rights activist Avdash Kaushal and a Pakistani law expert Ahmer B. Soofi.
Prof Avdhash Kaushal an Indian human rights activist and Chairperson of Dehradun-based NGO Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra while Ahmer Bilal Soofi is former caretaker federal law minister in Pakistan and an international law expert.(KH)
