    President of Chinese Academy of Sciences calls on President Rajapaksa Featured

    The President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS)  Bai Chunli called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees Tursday (April 1).

    Chunli is in Sri Lanka to explore opportunities for collaborations in the area of higher education that includes sending Sri Lankan academics for higher studies to China, conducting exchange programs and the possibility of establishing an institution in Sri Lanka. President Rajapaksa explained that Sri Lanka could use academic programs in the areas of petroleum sciences.

     

    Minister of Higher Education  S.B. Dissanayake, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga and Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education  Sunil Jayantha Nawaratne were also present.
