The two-day conference was held under the theme “Change; Challenge to an Opportunity”.
At the inaugural session of the Conference, the President presented a gift to the All Island 3rd place winner of 2016 G.C.E. (A/L) examination in the commerce stream, Nipuni Dhananjani Rupasinghe from Hingurakgoda.
The company sponsors were also presented with awards at this occasion.
President of AAT Sri Lanka, J. M. U. B. Jayasekara presented a souvenir to the President.
Meanwhile, President Sirisena headed a special intellectual discussion on the policies and plans of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Research.
During the discussion the President emphasized the importance of the contribution of intellectuals in future economic and development plans. He said the time is up to raise their voices to build a better future.
