President Maithripala Sirisena inspected the construction of the Sri Lanka’s tallest building ‘Lotus Tower’ last evening (5th Sept.).
The president had cordial discussions with the engineers and gave necessary instructions to expedite the work.
The tower, when completed will be 350 m tall and will have a luxury shopping complexes, restaurants, reception halls as well as an observation area.
The construction is expected to finish by March next year.
