President Mahinda Rajapaksa offered Pirikara to 100 Bhikkus who were on Pindapatha journey near the President's House.
The Pindapatha program was organised by members of Buddhist and Welfare Societies in Colombo to collect Pirikara for student Bhikkus in remote villages. The Pindapatha Journey began from Sri Sambudddhaloka Viharaya in Fort, Colombo on Friday morning.
The Presidential staff including M.B.Wimalasena Chief Organizer of Presidential staff Welfare Association participated at the occasion.(KH/SI)
