A meeting between President Maithripala Sirisena and a group of representatives of the Political Bureau of the Lanka Sama Samaja Party (LSSP) held at the President’s Official Residence on Thursday (8th Dec.)
The Party’s position on proposed amendments to the Constitution and the future political affairs were discussed in detail during the meeting.
The President recalled the longstanding political relationship between the SLFP and the LSSP.
Ven. Baddegama Samitha Thero, Lanka Sama Samaja Party Leader Prof. Tissa Vitharana, General Secretary of the UPFA, and Minister Mahinda Amaraweera also participated.
