The discussion between the President and the office bearers of the Association focused on the vocational issues faced by Samurdhi Managers.The President assured that he would take relevant actions after discussing with relevant bodies.

They stated that the former dictatorial rule did not appreciate the Samurdhi Movement which was the best and a leading financial institute in the country. The association complained that the former government let down the Samurdhi program and the workers, and also robbed the money in billions.

The President of the Sri Lanka Samurdhi Managers’ Association P. K. Ranugge, Co-Secretaries; DissanayakeLiyanage and S. D. S. Priyadarshanie were among those participated in this event.
