Speaker of Parliament Mr. Karu Jayasuriya, who was in Singapore for treatments, returned to the country this morning after completing treatments.
As per the instructions given by the doctors, the Speaker will spend the next couple of weeks in rest paying his whole attention towards the Parliamentary affairs.
He is likely to refrain from participating in the outside events during the rest period.
