Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe took part in an observation visit to Kosgama area this morning (6th June) to inspect the devastations of the fire that destroyed the Army Camp.
A special discussion was also held with state officials and the local political leadership to identify the urgent needs fo the displaced and to compensate them.
Minister of Disaster Management Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake, Minister of Science, Technology and Research Susil Premjayantha, Minister of Law, Order and Southern Development Sagala Rathnayake were also present.
