Inauguration of the national program “Sisu Diviyata Nawa Aruthak”, which aimed at educating school children on national reconciliation process, was held on Thursday (5th May) under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena at BMICH.
The Ministry of National Integration and Reconciliation organized the event to commence reconciliation from school as the first step.
The official website of the Ministry of National Integration and Reconciliation was also launched at the ceremony by the President.
State Minister of National Integration and Reconciliation A.H.M. Fauzie, Minister of Science, Technology and Research Susil Premajayantha, State Minister of Education, V. Radhakrishnan were also present.
