Accordingly, compensations worth Rs.4.68 million will be presented to 24 persons in the Gampaha Divisional Secretariat and 9 persons in Mahara Divisional Secretariat, who were fully or partially disabled or were admitted to hospitals.

The event will be held on Friday (8th April) under the patronage of the President Maithripala Sirisena.

During the last few weeks the President's special attention was paid regarding this and a committee headed by Secretary of Gampaha District was also appointed to provide recommendations to pay compensations.
