    Open every opportunity for children to win the tomorrow’s world - President

    “Government signed agreements with developed countries to bring new technology and to create opportunities for Sri Lankan younger generation to move forward with international standard”, said President Maithripala Sirisena.

     

    The President was addressing the gathering of the annual convocation of the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) in Malambe yesterday (25).

     

    During the president's recent state visits to Germany and Austria, several agreements were signed to gain the higher technological knowledge to Sri Lanka and to initiate educational exchange programs between the two countries.

     

    President said that he would offer every opportunity for the children in the country to win the tomorrow’s world, by arming them with the new technological knowledge and education.

     

    The President presented gifts to students of the year.

     

    Chancellor of the SLIIT Prof. Lakshaman Rathnayake was also participated in this ceremony.
