Since 2011 the Airline has been conducting regular surveys for passengers across the network. Started with a paper based survey form, which was later translated into 7 languages, these surveys have evolved into electronic platforms as well, enabling the Airline to capture feedback on ipads, mobile, web and feedback kiosks.
A passenger can be eligible for the monthly draw by answering all compulsory questions in the questionnaire. The winner, de Almeida, an IT professional who provided feedback on his flight UL 581 of February 28, 2015, was awarded a return air ticket to a SriLankan directly operated destination of his choice.
