Tourism Minister, Prasanna Ranatunga asserted that a well-planned program will be carried out to repatriate Sri Lankans who have gone to India for health and other necessary needs and the steps will be taken in this regard after next week.
He said this while responding to several questions raised by journalists after inspecting the construction of the Werellawatta Covid-19 Treatment Center in Gampaha.
Further addressing the media, the Minister highlighted that the repatriation process will be undertaken in accordance with the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and that the airports have been organized properly for this purpose.
