The United Nations Human Rights Council vote is scheduled today (22) and it will be held after 3.00 pm. (Sri Lanka time)
Sri Lanka will face the vote on a fresh Resolution moved by several states at the UN Human Rights Council today.
However, Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena had earlier stated that the allegations made against Sri Lanka were politically motivated and that the Sri Lankan government strongly denied those allegations.
