Sri Lanka Army (SLA) commenced renovation work of Maliboda Pothdenikanda Maha Vidayalaya playground at Deraniyagala (Feb 7).
Having listened to a request made by the students, parents and teachers of the school during the President’s ‘Gama Samaga Pilisandara’ programme held at Deraniyagala on February 6, His Excellency the President entrusted the renovation to the SLA.
Accordingly, the SLA engineer troops began the renovation works utilizing the manpower and technical expertise of I Field engineer troops.
