Another nine persons who underwent the quarantine procedure at the Boossa Naval quarantine centre were sent home today having done the PCR tests. Today 3,954 persons who were in quarantine at the Tri Forces run quarantine centres were released and sent home. Accordingly, another 1,443 persons are currently in quarantine at the centres operated by the Tri Forces,” the Army Commander said.

He also noted that talks are being held with the President and Prime Minister regarding the Sri Lankans stranded overseas and that they hope to bring them back in a systematic manner and put them through a proper quarantine procedure.
