The Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine stated that the closing date for accepting online applications to recruit trainee nurses has been extended.
The decision has been taken considering the prevailing situation in the country due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Accordingly, the deadline for the online applications to recruit trainees for the nursing profession has been extended until May 15, 2020.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
