Accordingly, all technical colleges and vocational training institutes under the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) Vocational Training Authority (VTA), German Training Institute (CGTTI), National Apprenticeship and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) and the Department of Technical Education and Training (DTET) under the Ministry of Skills Development, Employment and Labor Relations would be close during this period. Instructions had been issued in this regard by Minister Dinesh Gunawardena to the Ministry Secretary D.M. Sarath Abhayagunawardena.
