Education Ministry has accordingly informed all school principals and heads of education institutes to that all such students, lecturers or other officers attached to education
service who are in or leaving to countries seriously affected by the Coronavirus such as China, Korea and Italy will be quarantined in their return to the country.

The Education Ministry has issued this communication in keeping with the directives given by the Foreign Ministry. The Foreign Ministry has made the quarantine period for such
persons compulsory, the Education Ministry in the statement said.
