Shankar’s International Children’s Competition-2020 in progress

To commemorate the Children’s Day which falls on 14th November every year coinciding with the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (ICC), High Commission of India, Colombo, will organize Shankar’s International Children’s Competition on Saturday, 16th November 2019 from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m at SVCC, 16/2 Gregory’s Road, Colombo 07. Children from all over the island are welcome to participate in painting/ drawing/ writing competition.

The topic for essay writing/drawing/ painting for the competitions will be “Earth is the only home we have, Treasure it”.The Shankar’s International Children’s Competition 2020, in the categories of writing/ painting/ drawing, is open to children born on or after January 1st 2004. All the entries done by the children will be sent to New Delhi for the Shankar’s International Children’s Competition 2020.
